West Ham have the curious statistic of having beaten Arsenal in consecutive games at the Emirates. The evening fixture sees the clash of clubs in a slight slump. Enzo Maresca’s Blues have suffered back-to-back Premier League losses, to Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion, while the title holders lost 2-1 to Crystal Palace before slipping up in the Champions League in Istanbul in the week. Arne Slot’s side are winless in their past four Premier League games at their home ground but have not suffered back-to-back league matches since April 2023. Searching for signs?
